Rural Workforce Agency Victoria (RWAV) is excited to announce the launch of Stage One of the new MyRWAV Portal! This milestone marks the first phase of a comprehensive upgrade to streamline all of our digital processes, starting with the Health Workforce Scholarship Program (HWSP).
With its fresh new look and enhanced functionality, the upgrade aims to provide a more accessible and user-friendly experience for HWSP grant applicants.
Whatâs New in Stage One?
- Streamlined Interface: A refreshed look and intuitive layout to simplify navigation.
- Real-Time Application Tracking: Stay updated on the progress of your HWSP grant application at all times.
- Save Time with the Auto-Populate Function: Once your account is created your details will automatically populate into every new grant application.
- Manage Document Requirements: Seamlessly identify, upload and save required documents and information requested by RWAV.
- Integrated Support Tools: Access helpful resources and assistance directly within the portal.
Whatâs Next for the MyRWAV Portal?
Stage One focuses exclusively on HWSP applications, but additional functionality will be rolled out in subsequent stages. Future updates will include:
- Remaining Grants for Allied Health and Students â Enhancing access to funding for rural health workforce development.
- Outreach Programs â Supporting vital services like chronic disease management, mental health, and maternal health in rural communities.
- GP Programs and Incentives â Strengthening support for general practitioners working in regional and remote areas.
These upcoming features will continue to improve the grant and recruitment management experience and expand RWAVâs ability to support health professionals and communities across Victoria.
Advancing Rural Health in Victoria
The launch of the upgraded MyRWAV Portal reflects RWAVâs commitment to fulfilling its vision: Where all Victorian communities will be supported with equitable access to a high-quality health workforce that promotes positive health outcomes.
By reducing manual administration, the RWAV Grants team can now dedicate more time to identifying and securing new funding opportunities, ensuring continued support for health initiatives.
Explore the Upgraded Portal Today!
The Stage One launch of the MyRWAV Portal is a major step forward in improving the grants process. As we continue the upgrade you will be required to create a new account as the services you use move across to their new home.
When creating a MyRWAV account for the first time, we highly recommend using a personal email address rather than a work email address. This way your account can move with you through your professional journey.
RWAV looks forward to supporting you through this new system and continuing to build healthier rural communities across Victoria.
