ROLE: Locum required to cover leave at this well-established friendly group practice. Standard GP sessions with option to be included in on-call roster, however this is not essential.
GENERAL PRACTITIONER: CASTLEMAINE.
ROLE: The team of this accredited practice would like to extend a warm invitation to any doctors aspiring to work in rural general practice. The clinic has been servicing the community of Castlemaine for 40 years and has been a student and registrar training facility for the last 35.

The practice is a fully accredited and teaching practice for the medical schools of Melbourne and Monash Universities. Housed in a beautiful building on the main street, the practice has nine consulting rooms and a treatment room. Doctors are supported by highly experienced practice manager, part-time nurses, chronic disease and mental health nurse and reception staff.
The clinic provides services to patients of every age category from families to the elderly. Doctors have admitting rights to the Castlemaine Health public hospital and also attend to patients in the nursing home units and hostels at the Castlemaine Health site.
