People & Culture Manager
RWAV (Rural Workforce Agency Victoria) is a non-profit government funded organisation improving healthcare for rural, regional and Aboriginal communities in Victoria. About the role
RWAV is looking for a People & Culture Manager who has the skills to be both strategic and operational building a workplace culture that fosters and enhancing inclusivity, employee engagement and organisational performance.
As the People & Culture Manager, you will bring leadership and management capabilities to ensure strategic alignment and to effectively lead, manage and develop members of the People & Culture team to provide support and direction to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic and operational HR and Quality plans aligned with RWAV’s mission and values.
- Lead the People & Culture team, and provide advice to the senior management team, to:
- Improve attraction, engagement and retention of staff.
- Facilitate staff development by encouraging a culture of learning across the organisation.
- Implement, monitor and evaluate systems to improve the holistic safety of staff.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to managers and staff on People & Culture matters.
- Oversee workplace investigations related to misconduct or OHS matters.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality reporting, including workforce analytics, board updates, and key performance metrics to inform strategy and decision-making.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Strong background in strategic and operational human resource management, with a focus on quality and leading by example.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering core People & Culture functions, including workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, change implementation, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Experience and knowledge of quality, compliance, and workplace health and safety.
- Proven ability to lead and support teams, partnering with organisational leaders to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes high performance and employee wellbeing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in report writing, presentations, coaching and strong organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus engagement, consultation, and problem-solving to effectively manage IR and ER, development and implementation of organisational change initiatives.
- Proficient in digital tools, including various Microsoft Suite applications and HRIS systems (Employment Hero preferred).

Application Support Coordinator
The Application Support Coordinator provides application (business systems) support across the organisation and is part of the Business Systems and Integration Team at RWAV. The role is also responsible for ensuring the ongoing maintenance of internal and external business systems/tools and supporting the implementation of new systems/tools as required.
This role is part time (4 days per week) temporary assignment from mid-September to mid-April.

As the Manager of information Systems and Technology, you will play a pivotal role in the development, management, and maintenance of our organisation’s repository of information management systems and their integrations. You will lead a dynamic team, ensuring adherence to best practices while effectively managing staffing and resources.
The role manages the operational and strategic network planning, makes recommendations, improvements, and maintenance for growth and security of the IT network infrastructure and systems. Marketing & Events Officer
The Marketing and Events Officer at RWAV is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing marketing, communication, and income-generating strategies and events. This role involves managing all aspects of event organization, creating promotional materials and online content, and handling general communications and social media related to RWAV’s programs, services, and news.
The officer’s main objective is to enhance brand awareness, reputation, and engagement in alignment with RWAV’s goals. Key responsibilities include coordinating RWAV-hosted events, generating revenue through sponsorships and ticket sales, supporting online events, managing website content and forms, assisting with marketing strategy, monitoring marketing activity statistics, and providing support to the Marketing & Communications Team as needed. The role requires strong event management, written communication, and marketing skills, and duties may vary based on RWAV priorities and funded programs.
