This webinar explains the what, why, and how of the Victorian Rural Health Workforce Census and how to get involved.
The Victorian Rural Health Workforce Census contributes to the Victorian Health Workforce Needs Assessment, which is used by the Department of Health government to make decisions about health initiatives in regional, rural and Aboriginal Victoria. The information is also used by the RWAV to administer hundreds of grants, programs and initiatives to rural and remote Victorian communities to improve health outcomes.

The Victorian Rural Health Community Pulse Check Webinar
On the 8 September, our health workforce reporting and planning team hosted the Victorian Rural Health Community Pulse Check webinar.
This webinar explains the what, why and how of the Victorian Rural Health Community Pulse Check and how to get involved in our Victorian Rural Health Workforce Census. THE INAUGURAL RWAV RURAL ALLIED HEALTH FORUM – PRIMARY CARE SOLUTIONS
On 26 May 2022, the inaugural Rural Allied Health Primary Care Solutions Forum was held by RWAV as an interactive virtual event. With the growing importance of Allied Health services in rural Victoria, and the many challenges faced by both providers and patients, RWAV called for an open discussion to generate and prioritise problems and possible solutions.

The 2020 Otitis Media App was designed in conjunction with Menzies School of Health Research. It is an information and multimedia tool to assist primary health care providers in the delivery of comprehensive, effective and appropriate care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with otitis media.
