We are thrilled to share these moments from Georgia Maroske’s recent visit to Horsham College, her former high school. As an RWAV Rural Ambassador, Georgia spoke with students about her medical journey, inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Georgia’s story highlights the impact of the RWAV Future Workforce Program, which supports and nurtures future rural health leaders. We are proud to see our ambassadors giving back to their communities and encouraging young minds to consider careers in rural healthcare.
The Future Workforce program works with secondary school and university students to raise awareness of rural health careers. It assists with rural placements for university students and provides grants and bursaries to facilitate access to university entrance exams and clinical placements.
