GP/ GP Locum Vacancies
The RWAV Specialist GP Locum Program supports the retention of doctors by providing locum relief for holiday, sickness and education leave. We work with solo and group practices, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations and community health services within rural and regional Victoria.

RWAV has a range of grants available for rural and regional Victorian health professionals. Our grants are designed to help you achieve your career goals including relocation, professional development and postgraduate education.

MDRAP
The More Doctors for Rural Australia Program (MDRAP) supports non-vocationally recognised (non-VR) doctors to gain valuable general practice experience in rural and remote communities prior to joining a college fellowship pathway.
RLRP
The Rural Locum Relief Program (RLRP) is no longer taking applications. It has been replaced by the More Doctors for Rural Australia Program (MDRAP). Existing RLRP participants may continue on the program until the end of their placement.
