The Outreach Team has been working hard to ensure that we are able to support our service providers and communities during this challenging time. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, many service providers are shifting their model of delivery from face to face to telehealth.
Telehealth may be an option for some services. RWAV is able to support suitable service providers to utilise telehealth during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In order to provide our service providers with the support in transitioning from face to face to telehealth delivery, any telehealth visits conducted in lieu of face to face services until 30 April 2020 can still be invoiced under the same face to face visit costing, specified under your current contract. Please submit your service reports and claims as usual.
As from 1 May 2020, face to face services that will continue as telehealth will fall under a new contract. This will imply a new visit cost. Please note, if you wish to proceed with telehealth funding, the existing face to face contract will be put on hold until face to face consultations can recommence.
If you are a service provider and have not yet contacted us regarding your service delivery plans, please email us as soon as possible. If you would like to discuss the requirements of a new telehealth contract, please also email us at Vicoutreach@rwav.com.au.
