Our 2023-24 Annual Report highlights how we’ve supported communities across rural and regional Victoria.
RWAV has made a significant impact supporting 291 outreach services and facilitated 3,227 outreach visits that reached 47,787 patients, including 10,728 First Nations people. Over $185K was invested in recruitment and retention incentives for 109 primary care services, while 2,860 grants were awarded—including 60 for allied health upskilling, 15 for new or expanded services, and 138 for future workforce development.
With 108 locum placements delivered, $1.8M+ awarded in mental health workforce incentives, and the celebration of 110 nominees at the Victorian Rural Health Awards, this year’s achievements reflect our commitment to collaboration, innovation, and driving change in rural health.
